This year the Klamath Blues Society has chosen CASA as our target charity and we are pleased to be working along side of them to bring a wonder weekend to the Klamath Basin. For those of you that are not familiar with CASA...

CASA is a Court Appointed Special Advocate, also known as a CASA, is a trained citizen, age 21 or older, who is appointed by a judge to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children in court.

CASA volunteers come from all walks of life, with a variety of educational and ethnic backgrounds. A CASA volunteer is an essential presence that reminds everyone involved that at the heart of each case is a child who deserves a safe and loving place to call home.

You can fond more information about CASA at their website. This year, on the same day as the Klamath BLues Festival CASA is hosting it's 8th Annual Ride Through Paradise. This is a wonderful bicycling event and you can learn more about it here.
